The Skull Shores five pack! Found via The Monster High Dolls’s Facebook page. Pictures themselves taken by some scalper on eBay who’s charging literally twice the price for these. Don’t buy them guys. Patience, OK?

UM, CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW FUCKING GORGEOUS CLEO AND CLAWDEEN ARE? I LOVE that they seem to have ditched the tinsel for Cleo and upped the teal. It so suits her. My precious baby girl. OMG AND CLAWDEEN’S HAIR. CLAWDEEN’S. HAIR.

We don’t usually like excessively gory Ghoulia repaints because they’re kind of overdone, but this one’s just so gosh darn cute.

[image: $35 offer on a Comic Con Exclusive Ghoulia listed at $140 with the note: “let’s be honest, she retails for $20. i’m all for making a profit but let’s not get greedy.”]

because scalpers are crazy.

I would say $140 is excessive, but she does not retail for $20, sorry. Not unless she’s now a general release and we missed the news. She might’ve gone for that much originally at Comic Con, but she’s an exclusive, limited edition, out-of-production doll. Even right in the aftermath of Comic Con, she was going, on average, for $50. You’re not going to find her for $20. Even $35 would be an undersell.

We’re all for sticking it to scalpers, but expecting to pay the same amount for a very limited-release exclusive doll that you would for any old basic is also kind of ridiculous. This doll is no longer being produced and (presumably) never will be again. The more time passes, the more she will be worth (assuming that interest in MH dolls in general doesn’t drop off, or else you end up with the same situation as Pokemon cards, where the first edition holographic Charizard that every kid thought would one day buy them a mansion now retails for about $50 on Amazon). That’s not scalping at work, that’s basic supply and demand.

That said, $140 is too much for her, definitely.
